Mentoring

I went to college to become a teacher and then I became a photographer instead, so mentoring for interior photography is the perfect marriage of these two worlds! When I started shooting interiors in 2014 there wasn’t a lot of information out there so I taught myself most of what I know and now I’m looking forward to sharing it with you.

All The Info

  • Mentoring is done one-one-one over zoom so it can be tailored to meet your needs. It typically takes 2-3 hours to go over the information I have prepared.
  • We discuss three areas of interior photography: shooting, editing, and business tips.
  • 1. Shooting – I’ll share a 14 minute video of me shooting a home so you can see first hand how I work and what I think is most important when shooting interiors & architecture. We’ll also go over several shooting tips, with the most requested being how to use off-camera flash to light a dark room.
  • 2. Editing – I have examples of basic and advanced editing techniques and I’ll work with you one-on-one to show you how I edit a photo.
  • 3. Business – We’ll discuss copyrights, third party licenses, being published, contracts, social media, camera gear, workflow, pricing, etc.
  • Please contact me for pricing information and to schedule your session.
  • Mentoring is only available to those living outside of Utah.
